Where can I get a copy of the MSI help file?

Microsoft's Windows Installer help library is included with the Windows Installer SDK and can be downloaded or viewed online.

In InstallShield products it is also available under the Help menu of the IDE.

The reason you want the MSI help file handy is that InstallShield isn't Windows Installer, and vice versa: InstallShield generates MSI databases that you deliver to your end-users, and Windows Installer processes your MSI databases when your end-users launch your installation programs.
