Could not write value VersionMajor to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{[ProductCode]}. System error . Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

Description

Make sure that the ProductVersion you have specified is in the correct format, in particular it must not contain letters. The proper formats are:

• aa.bb.cccc
• aa.bb.cccc.dddd

where

• aa is a number with a maximum value of 255
• bb is a number with a maximum value of 255
• cccc is a number with a maximum value of 65535
• dddd is an optional number with a maximum value of 65535

The field delimiters must be periods.
