MSI FAQ in Deutsch

Msiexec.exe Is Linked to Missing Export Msi.dll

After running a Windows Installer setup and rebooting your computer you may receive the following error message: "The msiexec.exe is linked to missing export msi.dll". A possible cause is that the MSI engine update did not fully succeed. Some anti virus programs, in particular McAfee VShield, are known to cause this problem.
