Where can I get the latest InstallScript engine?

There may be situations where you need to install the InstallShield scripting engine (isscript.msi) separately, for instance if you want to use Group Policy to deploy an setup that was created as "InstallScript MSI" project type using InstallShield Developer. Note that this only applies to some InstallShield created setups, depending on the way the setup was authored. For more information see InstallShield Knowledge Base article Q108166.

In general a compatible version of isscript.msi should be included with the setup. However if you need to get the latest version you can download it from here:

• For setups created with InstallShield Developer 7:
  http://www.installengine.com/isengine/isscript.msi

• For setups screated with InstallShield Developer 8:
  http://www.installengine.com/cert03/isengine/isscript8.msi
