Why is my custom property reset in the Execute sequence?

If you're setting the value of a property in the User Interface sequence and retrieving its value in the Execute sequence, make sure it's a public property (with a name all in uppercase letters); only the values of public properties are preserved between the UI sequence and the Execute sequence.

For example, the value of a property called MYPROPERTY would be preserved, but the value of MyProperty would not.
